# Assign roles to users

## Assigning a role

To assign a role to a user, use the `/setrole` command while selecting the user you wish to assign the role to.

A select menu will pop up asking you to select the role you wish to apply to the user

## Removing a role

To remove a role from a user, use the `/setrole` command and then select the everyone role.
